The Experience Greece travel team, in collaboration with the Municipality of Aristotle, presents this fully interactive, native iPad app about the settlement of Arnaia that is recognized as one of the most beautiful mountainous villages in Greece that is worth visiting.

The new travel site of the Municipality of Thira, www.santorini.gr , is now availabe In the world wide web created by the Experience Greece travel team.

The web site has modern design, high quality photographic material, videos, detailed texts in greek and english language, a mini tour guide for those who visit the island just for a few days, as well as the application called “Your vacations”, which covers specific interests of visitors who arrive together with their families, friends, for honeymoon etc.

Aqua Vista Hotels, in cooperation with the Experience Greece Travel Team, presented the most elegant native application created especially for iPad users. The Blue Star Ferries Destinations covers the 26 Greek islands with updated content, photos, maps amd a lot of local information. The autumn 2012 edition of "On Blue" magazine of Blue Star Ferries includes the full page presentation of Experience Greece apps. In particular the iPhone and iPad apps of Experience Santorini for 2012 cover a big part of the page while other applications are also included as Mykonos, Rhodes, Paros, Tinos for islands that are among Blue Star Ferries destinations.

Village of Pyrgos in Santorini is one of the most picturesque and best preserved villages of the island of Santorini. Experience Santorini for iPhone is totally redesigned for 2012. Following the reduced price of Experiece Santorini for iPad, the application for iPhone is now offered at USD 0.99 (0.79 euros). LEAP SA, kindly offered hosting to Experience Greece at the booth during the InfoComApps 2012, the smartphones applications related conference that was held in Athens on 21 February 2012. Developer Mr Nikos Kontis presented his company's services capabilities for iPhone, iPad and Android and the applications including Experience Santorini HD for iPad. Experience Santorini HD for iPad was recently presented by the Australian Press. Experience Greece and iPhone-iPad applications attracted a very warm applause during the presentation at Mobile Apps Section of InfoCom World Conference. An audience of more than 200 persons welcomed Mr Yiannis Drenoyiannis who talked about the applications and presented the total project effort towards developing accurate and updated tourist guides for smart phones and tablets, concerning the Greek islands and other places in Greece.

Mr Yiannis Drenoyiannis is presenting the Experience Greece Project and Travel Applications during the 13th InfoCom conference. InfoCom World is an International Conference held at Divani Caravel hotel Athens, on 25 October 2011 (www.info-com.gr). It is the most outstanding event in the field of Telecommunications, informatics and digital technologies in the Southeastern Europe region. Experience Greece is presented during the special section "Mobile Apps: It's an Apps World", where professionals from Business and Consumer Apps fields are also participating.

Experience Corfu GR, the 8th app from Experience Greece, was launched on 16 September 2011. Immediately jumped to 2nd place in paid travel apps in AppStore. This travel guide presents all famous places of the cosmopolitical island in Ionian see that is considered to be one of the best travel destinations in Mediterranean.

The Experience Greece Project is only three months old. Experience Greece team got another successive award. After Experience Santorini's first place in the top 5 iOS applications for July now it is Experience Mykonos that is in the top five positions for AUGUST 2011. Professionals at the systemgraph blog included Mykonos among their top 5 choices giving a lot of joy to the whole Experience Greece team.

Experience Greece simultaneously released two new applications concerning the island of Rhodes including the old town of Rhodes that is like an open museum of Byzantine, Gothic, Turkish and Aegean architecture.
Experience Rhodes (in English) and Experience Rhodes GR (in Greek) are now available on App Store for 2.99 euros (3.99 USD). These use the Rh logo in relation to Sa for Santorini and My for Mykonos.

The well known all over Greece and abroad iPhoneHellas.gr site and forum made a presentation of Experience Santorini HD under the Greek iPhone developers promo page. Writer Mr Vasilis Ananiadis, reported on the iPad application as "an interactive travel guide that left the best of impressions" (http://www.iphonehellas.gr/29593/experience-santorini-hd/). He adds that among others the fascinating pictures one will see on his iPad screen will make him interested to visit the island.

On 4 August 2011, Experience Greece was introduced to Greek TV audience during the popular TV series EsC (escape) on ET1 channel. Yiannis Drenoyiannis and developer Nikos Kontis presented the Experience Santorini HD concept and displayed the features over an iPad and the youtube video. They also explained the team's targets promising more interesting applications for the future to come.

The new application for iPhone covering the island of Mykonos was launched on 2 August 2011 in App Store. The title is Experience Mykonos and the UK travel site, Travel Daily.co.uk made the first reference just days later.

On Sunday 31 July 2011 issue, Experience Santorini HD received a special full page coverage in "E" (Epsilon) insert magazine of Greek newspaper "ELEFTHEROTYPIA". Journalist Mrs Caroline Patriarhea wrote a special article on how to experience the island of Santorini by using the HD application "even if you cannot fold properly a map or you need glasses to draw your route, this application is for you..." as she reported.

Just days after Experience Santorini was the top application for July 2011, good news arrived for the Experience Greece team. The Appstorehq.com site offered world recognition to Experience Santorini HD by making it the hottest Travel iPad application with an astonising 69 points against 16 for the second place (http://www.appstorehq.com/hottest-ipad-apps/travel-8). Beginning of August 2011 Experience Santorini got the first award. It was the first out of top five applications for JULY 2011. The Greek site GreekiPhone.com presented the top applications for July 2011 and awarded Experience Santorini the first place. Congratulations.

On 26 July 2011, the Business Travel Tips.com site presented the Experience Santorini HD as "An innovative travel application for the iPad compiled by the best and most experienced team of Greek travel writers. The first in Greece that takes full advantage of iPad functions, interactivity and the new philosophy of tablets", making all of the Experience Greece team happy so to keep up the good work. 

The special summer edition, CITY GUIDE, of Athens Voice Free Press included Experience Santorini as the application for the summer 2011 to cover the island of santorini among the other top Greek islands. This 1/4 page coverage in english was distributed free of charge all over Greece to locals and tourists as well.

On 14 July 2011, it was the launch day of Experience Santorini HD, the application that was specially designed for iPad. Immediatelly this made a difference among other applications of similar kind and created a new reference level for the digital travel guides. A week later a video was introduced in youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xY6tDez1dIg) displaying all of the new medium features that make Experience Santorini HD a true interactive experience. Less than a month later youtube video has already more than 1500 views from all over the world.

On 19 July 2011, the famous iOS applications review site 148Apps.com, included Experience Santorini EN (english version) in the web site with a picture of sunset in Oia.

On 24 June 2011, it was LIFO, the Greek Free Press Magazine that made a reference on the Experience Santorini applications for iPhone, both Greek and English versions as well as the Experience Greece project. This presentation was inserted in the Market News part of the magazine's site as in the attached picture.

On Saturday 18 June 2011 issue, the Greek Newspaper "ELEFTHEROS TYPOS" included an article on Experience Santorini. The coverage was extended to a full page and included application photos and also details on the Experience Greece project.

On 13 June 2011, Travel Daily News.gr web site was one of the very first to present the Experience Greece project with reference to travel journalists Giannis Drenogiannis' and Valy Vaimaki's work. Also gave a detailed analysis of the features of the Experience Santorini application describing it as an 100% Greek iPhone app.

On 2 June 2011, Experience Greece launched the first travel application, Experiecne Santorini for iPhone (in greek). It took only a day to reach the top, since on 3 June 2011 Experience Santorini was the top paid travel app in the Greek appstore.
