Experience Greece project was created by the acclaimed journalists Yiannis Drenoyiannis and Valy Vaimaki. It includes a series of travel applications for smartphones and tablets, concerning well known destinations in Greece.

Yiannis, who is specialized in travel reporting, has been doing systematic field research all over Greece, for the past 18 years. As a result he has created the most complete and trustworthy database of texts, photographs, videos, books, maps and travelling tips. Within the past 6 years, Yiannis built his travel crew by choosing among the most recognized journalists, cartographers and photographers in Greece; Valy Vaimaki was the editor-in-chief.

The team created 150 travel guides, maps and coffee table books which content focuses solely in Greece; they were published by the country’s major publishing houses (Lambrakis Press, Pegasus Publications) which thereby recognized their high quality.

Content Providers

Apart from the development of the experience Greece project, our team provides travel content to the tourism industry.We also serve the industry by developing original and functional tailor made apps for smartphones and tablets, e.g. native iPad apps for resorts, hotels and restaurants, iPhone apps for airlines and many more.

In our next projects we will “experience” other countries apart from Greece. Journalists and photographers who are members of the team have already traveled all over the world, so they are able to update and enrich their travel content by doing extensive field research in collaboration with local travel experts. All information will be “transformed” into “experiences” suitable for web sites, social media or travel applications.
